Designing pins is an intricate process that requires a good partnership with the pin producer. These sample selections include a variety of base metals, color use, layering, and dangling options.
HONORING ALL CAREGIVERS
This is the latest design I created as a pro-bono project campaigning to support those in the medical profession that cared for patients during the COVID-19 pandemic. It was an honor to be associated with such an important cause.
PENNY TONN AWARD PIN
This pin is unique in many ways. Recipients of the Penny Tonn Award, a Partners Federal Credit Union recognition award, is given once a year to only one employee. The pin is multi-layered with an intricate design. The top layer representing a penny portrays a photo transfer of Penny Tonn. This pin is also numbered with the year of the award on the back.
PARTNERS MERGER PIN
This pin was designed to celebrate the 2007 merger of two credit unions, Partners and Vista. For the occasion, the pin was given as a gift to all the cast members of both credit unions. The design took advantage of the base metal to form the shapes of the icons of all the market areas that the new credit union would cover. The pin was enhanced with a dangling pin carrying the new logo, also designed by me. This project also included a red velvet gift box design and additional printing in gold.
